Scarlet Nexus (Ultimate Edition)

In a far future where humanity has built its civilization around a mysterious substance found in the human brain, certain people are born with extrasensory powers. This society lives under constant threat from the Others, grotesque mindless creatures that rain down from an orbiting Extinction Belt and hunt humans for their brains. To defend the city of New Himuka, the Other Suppression Force recruits the gifted, arming them with blades and psychokinetic powers that let them hurl objects and debris at their foes. The story follows two new OSF recruits, the good-natured Yuito Sumeragi and the reserved Kasane Randall, each drawn into the force from very different backgrounds. As they train, fight alongside a squad of uniquely powered comrades, and grow into their abilities, the two begin to uncover unsettling truths about the Others, the OSF, and the origins of the world they have sworn to protect.
