The ship is everything in Skull and Bones. Up to 12 distinct vessel types can be crafted, each with unique hull characteristics, weapon hardpoints, and tactical profiles that suit different playstyles. Cannons, mortars, torpedoes, and auxiliary weapons can be selected, upgraded, and combined to create loadouts suited to everything from long-range artillery bombardment to close-range boarding actions. The live service structure keeps the game evolving — regular seasons have added new ship classes including a playable large ship, new megaforts, new contracts, and cosmetic content since launch. Players can experience the full game solo in PvE mode or opt into PvEvP where other player pirates become an additional threat. Co-op supports up to three players sailing together.
