About Life is Strange: Double Exposure Ultimate Edition
The Life is Strange: Double Exposure Ultimate Edition bundles the complete base game with five outfit packs and the Exclusive Cat Content. The five outfit packs each give Max four new indoor outfits and a coat, with one outfit unlocking per chapter as the story progresses. The Spooky Outfit Pack and Decades Outfit Pack, also available in the Deluxe Edition, cover ghost-hunting and retro-inspired looks, respectively.
The Final Fantasy VII Outfit Pack is exclusive to the Ultimate Edition, dressing Max in outfits themed around creatures from the Final Fantasy VII saga, including Moogle, Chocobo, Cactuar, and Tonberry designs. The Fan Favorite Outfit Pack and Paw Prints Cat Outfit Pack round out the collection with further themed looks, all changeable at Max's dresser or at the start of each new chapter.
The Exclusive Cat Content adds a small narrative thread running through the rest of the game. During the final scene of Chapter 2, Max discovers a lost cat on her back porch and takes it in, needing to build its trust and care for it while working to reunite it with its owner. This content drew a mixed reaction from parts of the community at launch, with some feeling it added little to the overall story relative to its position as a paid Ultimate Edition exclusive.
