About Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition
The Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition bundles the base game with Season Pass 1, Season Pass 2, and all additional bonus cosmetic content. Season Pass 1 includes four campaign add-ons. Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot sends players to a massive casino space station built by Handsome Jack. Guns, Love, and Tentacles is a Lovecraftian expansion centered on the engagement party of Sir Alistair Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs on a remote ice planet. Bounty of Blood is a western-inspired campaign on the frontier planet of Gehenna. Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck drops players into the fractured mindscape of returning character Psycho Krieg.
Season Pass 2 adds Designer's Cut and Director's Cut. Designer's Cut introduces Arms Race, a standalone mode that strips all existing gear from Vault Hunters and drops them into a dangerous zone to scavenge and extract as much loot as possible. It also adds a fourth skill tree for each Vault Hunter, significantly expanding build options across all four characters. Director's Cut adds a raid boss, additional story missions, behind-the-scenes developer content, and three Vault Cards, a progression system rewarding cosmetics and gameplay bonuses through daily and weekly challenges.
The four Multiverse Final Form Cosmetic Packs each provide an alternate look for one of the four Vault Hunters drawn from a different universe version of that character. The Butt Stallion Pack adds the Butt Stallion weapon skin, weapon trinket, and grenade mod. The Deluxe Bonus Content adds the Retro, Neon, and Gearbox Cosmetic Packs, the Toy Box Weapons Pack, and equippable XP and Loot Drop Boost Mods.
