What is Save the World?
Fortnite Save the World (STW) is the original co-op PvE mode in Fortnite. Four players work together on missions, harvesting resources, building fortifications, setting traps, and defending objectives against zombie-like husks across four zones: Stonewood, Plankerton, Canny Valley, and Twine Peaks. Epic's founder Tim Sweeney described it as a mix of Minecraft and Left 4 Dead.
The mode launched in early access on July 25, 2017, and became free-to-play on April 16, 2026. Since anyone can now start playing for free, Fortnite STW accounts are valued for what the account already holds, mainly Founder status and the cosmetics that came with it.

Founder and Non-Founder Fortnite Accounts
Two kinds of accounts play Save the World, and the difference is the currency earned from gameplay.
Founders bought a Founder's Pack before the packs were discontinued in 2020. Epic confirmed that Founders keep earning V-Bucks through daily quests, mission alerts, Storm Shield Defense missions, and challenges. V-Bucks earned in Save the World can be spent on Battle Royale cosmetics.
Non-Founders earn X-Ray Tickets from quests, mission alerts, and daily login rewards instead. X-Ray Tickets only work inside Save the World, where they buy X-Ray Llamas. They cannot be spent in Battle Royale or converted to V-Bucks. Llamas provide heroes, defenders, survivors, and schematics for the weapons and traps needed to progress.

What Is Exclusive to Save the World Founders
Founder status can no longer be bought. Epic pulled the paid Save the World listing before the free-to-play launch, and Founder's Packs have not been on sale since 2020. These items are therefore tied to existing accounts:
V-Bucks earning from Save the World, which new players do not get
Warpaint and Rose Team Leader, two Legendary Battle Royale outfits added to the Founder's Pack in 2018 for past and future owners, along with the Pursuit and Skirmish back blings
The Founder's Glider and Founder's Umbrella
Founder's Weapons schematics, the best known being Nocturno, which came only with the Ultimate Founder's Pack and has been impossible to obtain since that pack was removed from sale in 2020
Accounts carrying this status are collected in the Save the World Founder accounts category.

What Fortnite STW Accounts on GameBoost Include
Live listings show a clear pattern. Most are labeled OG STW, the tag sellers use for Founder-era accounts, and many also hold early Battle Pass items from Chapter 1. Black Knight, Sparkle Specialist, Blue Squire, Floss, and The Reaper appear again and again, along with Rose Team Leader, Take The L, Elite Agent, and OG Skull Trooper. More of these early items are covered in the OG Fortnite accounts category.
Each listing shows its skins, emotes, pickaxes, gliders, V-Bucks balance, and account level, along with platform tags such as PC, PSN, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Collections range from about two dozen skins to several hundred, and many sellers note email changeable or full access.
What to Check Before Buying
Founder wording. Look for OG STW, Founder, or an edition name (Standard, Deluxe, Super Deluxe, or Limited) in the listing. Since Save the World is free to play, an account that only mentions PvE access does not carry Founder V-Bucks earning unless the seller confirms it.
Platform and access. Check the platform tag and whether the email can be changed.
The item list. Compare the named cosmetics against the skin, emote, and pickaxe counts shown on the listing.
