League of Legends Riot Squad Singed Distribution

Riot Squad Singed launched in June 2010 as a physical giveaway at Gamescom, where Riot staff handed out cards with unique redemption codes at their booth. A limited number of additional distributions followed at other events in 2010 and 2011, including PAX and E3, but the skin was never sold through the in-game store during any of those windows.

The design features Singed wearing complete riot control gear, replacing his chemical flask with a tear gas canister and carrying a large shield emblazoned with the Riot Games logo. His Poison Trail has been visually recolored to fit the theme. The skin was visually updated in 2020 to align with modern graphical standards, ensuring it holds up better than most cosmetics from that period.

Riot permanently disabled all redemption codes in 2014, closing the last official path to add the skin to any account. Unlike other skins in the Riot-themed lineup, Riot Squad Singed has never been made available through Hextech Crafting, loot boxes, or Mystery Gifting, and there are no announced plans to change that. Ownership estimates put the number of accounts that ever received it at a few thousand, with the active portion of that pool considerably smaller today.

Singed is a top laner who has been part of League of Legends since April 2009 and is one of the six original champions. Over the years, he has remained relevant in both solo queue and professional play across multiple seasons.

With redemption codes disabled since 2014 and no re-release through any in-game system, the total number of Riot Squad Singed accounts for sale has only declined. Ownership estimates put the figure at a few thousand Riot Singed accounts, and that number shrinks each year as older accounts go inactive.
