PAX Skins in League of Legends
PAX skins are a line of three legacy cosmetics given out at the Penny Arcade Expo between 2009 and 2011: PAX Twisted Fate (2009), PAX Jax (2010), and PAX Sivir (2011). Each one was handed out as a physical redemption code to event attendees rather than sold in the store, which is what makes them some of the rarest cosmetics in the game.
Why PAX Skins Are So Rare
None of the three PAX skins were ever purchasable with RP. Codes went out at the event itself, so getting one meant actually being at PAX that year. Riot permanently disabled all remaining PAX codes in 2014, closing the door for good. Since then, none of the three have returned through Hextech Crafting, Mystery Gifting, or any event, and Riot has given no indication that will change.
PAX Twisted Fate is widely considered the rarest of the three, since it came first and was capped at the first 20,000 attendees at PAX 2009. PAX Jax and PAX Sivir followed in 2010 and 2011, each with a smaller original giveaway and a slightly lower resale value than PAX Twisted Fate, but all three are effectively unobtainable today outside of an account that already has one.
Riot has released modern remakes of two of the three: Neo PAX Jax (2023) and Neo PAX Sivir (2017), both sold through the Mythic Essence shop. These are separate skins with their own designs, not a way to unlock the originals, so they don’t change the rarity of a true PAX account.
Buying a PAX Account
PAX accounts for sale on GameBoost come from verified sellers, since the only way to own one of these skins now is through an account that already has it. Buyers can browse all three skins through this category or look at PAX Twisted Fate, PAX Jax, and PAX Sivir individually, depending on which skin matters most.
